Stroke may lead to grave consequences including death or severe physical impairment. The death rate for stroke survivors within a year is approximately 20-25%. While around 30-40% of the survivors lose their independence after the stroke. Other repercussions include:

  • Paralysis
  • Incontinence
  • Speech Impairment
  • Vision Impairment
  • Wry mouth and eyes
  • Drooling and Difficulties with Swallowing
  • Unconsciousness
  • Dementia
